March 30, 2010 - Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day:
The County of Rock Island hereby proclaims its support of the U.S. House of Representatives in the establishment of a "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" as an appropriate way to honor those members of the United States Armed Forces who served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
The County of Rock Island agrees that March 30th would be an appropriate day to establish as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" from this day forth. Click here to view the entire proclamation. |
