Accounting Division
The accounting department performs a variety of bookkeeping tasks involved in processing circuit court receipts and maintaining appropriate financial and account information. Some activities include:
- Accepting and providing receipts for payments received in person or through the mail
- Maintaining and balancing accounts
- Making various financial transmittals and disbursements
- Preparing and running a variety of financial reports for daily, monthly and annual balancing
The accounting department is also responsible for remitting collected funds to the appropriate government agencies.
